For
about 6 months before placement, doctors and us felt our Mom
should not live alone but she preferred to not "impose" by
living with us and we did not think placement was
financially possible. Consulting with hospital and
home health social workers did not provide ideas. Peggy referred us to apply for the Veterans Aid & Attendance
and helped us locate a great facility, which Mom loves. Shirley has told people she did not realize how lonely she
was in her own home since she has enjoyed the companionship
at the personal care home. |

In November 2008 I decided that it was necessary for me to
have assistance in my daily living due to health issues.
At my church there was a presentation by Peggy’s Powers
Placement and I was impressed. I contacted them and they
sent a representative (Norma) and after finding out my needs
we visited 2 places. I am now living in an assisted living
complex and very please with my selection.
I will recommend your service to all my friends and
especially Norma for her consideration. |
